The CA School of Business is looking for IT Support contractors, specifically IT Proctors. The next exam period they need more IT proctors for is July 3rd (Friday) from 7:30am to 3pm.

CASB's CA education delivery system is an ever-evolving process that requires a diverse set of skills for those involved in program support. These changes have created new opportunities to work as an IT Support contractor at the Evaluation centres.

An IT Support Staff member is the individual who brings sufficient technical knowledge to deal with technical issues with Securexam (CA) including:

- helping students deal with laptop start-up issues
- retrieving files from hard drives in cases where laptops have crashed
- issues related to closing the software.

- collecting and uploading student responses

The IT Support Staff is required to deal with only issues related to Securexam(CA). There is no expectation of general computer use support. In order to provide these services, an IT Support Staff must be an experienced computer user who is very familiar with using Windows Explorer, Microsoft Word and Excel.

IT Support Staff would be expected to bring their own laptop, cell phone and a portable printer (inkjet or laser).

CASB provides on-line training as well as teleconferences to help prepare IT proctors for the exams. The training and supporting materials are designed to deal with issues most likely encountered at the evaluation centre.

Students must bring their own laptop pre-installed with Securexam(CA). Securexam(CA) is software that locks down the computer, restricting some of the functionality of the computer. It then captures the students' responses to a USB key.
